Who is Headspace Organizing?

Great question!
Headspace Organizing was created and built
by a person who was once told by her1st grade teacher:
"Your desk is so messy, I'm afraid to put my hand inside!"
This same person was later a teenager with a bedroom so
littered with clothing, magazines, CDs, notebooks, etc., etc., etc.,
that the floor was not visible.
And when this person and her bestie got their first apartment at age 18?
Well, when their home became overwhelmingly cluttered,
they decided to just MOVE rather than deal with it!
(Logic be damned, obviously.)
That person is Me.
Why am I telling you this on my website?!
Another really good question, thanks for asking!
I'm putting this out there, up front, because I know
that no matter how impossible it may seem, lasting change is possible!
After almost 20 years of helping clients overcome challenges to their organizational goals,
I understand how hard it can be to take that first step.
Many of my clients share that they feel embarrassed, lost, and overwhelmed.
They have tried to tackle their spaces on their own, without success.
They feel stuck, and sometimes, like there is no way out.
But there is.
Lasting change doesn't come from making donations, filling trash bags,
or buying all the organizing materials the internet has to offer.
It comes from a shifted mindset. From learning new skills.
From saying Goodbye to what doesn't work, and Yes! to trying something new.
It comes from asking for the right help, at the right time.
And chances are, if you're reading this, that time is now,
Tell me more!
Ultimately, Headspace Organizing was created by a grown-up person whose background in Visual Merchandising met a real-life need for simplicity and functionality.
Visual Merchandising is everything you see when you walk into a retail space.
Product display, lighting, signage, floor plan - everything is carefully planned and coordinated to make it easy for you, the customer, to find what you need...and for employees to keep things tidy hour to hour, day to day, week to week, and so on.
Headspace Organizing applies the principles of visual merchandising
to the places we spend the most time - our homes and work spaces!
We address the big picture through a lens of
simplicity, efficiency, and common sense.
We move through the physical work without ever
loosing sight of the grounding question:
"What is standing in the way of this space becoming one
of peace and inspiration? Of comfort and productivity?
Because when that answer is uncovered,
lasting change is possible!
