This client contacted us after an addition was completed off the primary bedroom - a brand new room to become a walk-in closet! After a virtual consultation, where we established a good client/project fit, we scheduled our first on-site session...

Asessment, Phase One

We met with the client on-site to learn more about her vision and needs; we asked and fielded questions, and assessed existing storage and as well as the newly built space. Next, we took detailed measurements, and inventoried everything that was meant to live in the new closet.

Planning, Phase two

With data in hand, it was time to design a functional system for the client!

The space presented a few challenges: a door and window on opposite walls and dramatically sloped ceilings on the other two! To solve for these challenges, a free-standing closet system was designed - storage and display pieces were selected to tuck snugly against the ceiling slope; these provided ample storage for both folded and hanging clothing, as well shoes, hats and other accessories. The cavities created behind the banks of storage made for perfect (and much needed) deep storage space - here we placed bins for off-season clothing and extra bedding. Accessed easy, simply by removing a section of hanging clothes and pulling out what is needed.

The customized design, including 3D renderings, detailed descriptions, and a sourcing list of suggested materials was placed into a comprehensive proposal and submitted to the client for approval.

Finally, the finishing touches - organizing clothing and accessories within the space!

Finally, the finishing touches - organizing clothing and accessories within the space! In just under 30 hours of service time, the project was complete and our clients were enjoying their brand-new walk-in closet!
