Getting used to environment and routine over time can sometimes mean we don't notice that we've outgrown our space, or that our needs have changed enough that our space no longer works for us. Suddenly we're frustrated with what's not working - yet the environment is so familiar that it's impossible to imagine change!

Getting Started
These clients needed a fresh take on the bedroom of their seven-year-old daughter. We got started with Hands-On work, sorting and categorizing and getting super familiar with the play style and preferences of our young client, as well as taking time to understand the big-picture goals of Mom and Dad!
With a clear understanding of how the space needed to function, we got to work designing a new room for a fun little girl.
Planning
Our proposal included
~ repositioning the bed to ground the space - which to everyone's delight made making the bed much easier!
~ the addition of a free-standing wardrobe to house clothing, leaving the closet free for reinvention...
~ now sporting a new shelving system, the closet became an Entertainment Zone, for all books, games and toys.
Installation
With our proposal was approved, and materials purchased, we put a date for Installation on the calendar to execute the plan!
We love every stage of reinvention projects, but seeing our plans come to life is especially fun
